Many of our pastors have come to join the BIC from other theological backgrounds and denominations. To help new pastors feel welcomed to the BIC and to prepare them for success in their role we provide an annual retreat called New Pastors Orientation.
In a relational retreat environment, a number of guest speakers cover the history, values and unique theological history of the Be In Christ Church. BIC staff share about the vision we have for pastoral leadership in our denomination and the various programs and services we provide to our pastors and local churches. We also have lots of fun together.
Every new pastor is required to attend this retreat in order to be credentialed with the BIC.
