Waypoint Church is searching for a Lead Pastor who loves Jesus, possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrates gifts of teaching and leadership. Permanent Full-Time Position

The Pastor of Family Life provides visionary and pastoral leadership to support the spiritual growth, discipleship, and relational health of families within the church community. This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating ministries that equip and engage children, youth, and parents, fostering a Christ-centered, intergenerational culture. 

Working collaboratively with other ministry leaders and volunteer teams, the Pastor of Family Life ensures that families are nurtured through biblical teaching, intentional programming, and pastoral care, with the goal of strengthening faith at home and within the broader church body.

Permanent Part-Time Position (20 hours per week)

Westside Church (WC) is a growing church in the BIC Church of Canada family. It exists as one church in two locations (Hamilton and Burlington, ON) and strives to be spiritually healthy while working for the good of the cities in which we have been placed. Typical attendance on a Sunday morning ranges from about 80–100 children across our Kids Ministry environments.

The Kids Ministry Director will partner with the WC staff team to provide leadership for the Hamilton congregation with occasional support to Burlington as needed. This role will offer point leadership for Westside Kids Ministry, ensuring that children’s environments are well-organized, volunteers are supported, and parents are engaged. The Director will also oversee curriculum planning, organize special events, and ensure all ministry practices align with WC’s beliefs and core values.

Part-Time Position (24 hours per week)
$22/Hour (Commensurate with experience)

The Children’s Ministry Director at Wainfleet BIC Church is a part-time leadership role (24 hours/week) responsible for overseeing all aspects of children’s ministry. This role focuses on creating meaningful, Christ-centered experiences for children and families, supporting and equipping volunteers, and ensuring smooth weekly, monthly, and annual programming.

The Director provides spiritual leadership, administrative oversight, volunteer coordination, and hands-on Sunday morning support, working closely with the pastoral team. Key responsibilities include curriculum preparation, volunteer scheduling and training, parent communication, attendance tracking, special events, and Vacation Bible School planning. The role reports directly to the Co-Lead Pastor and requires spiritual maturity, strong relational skills, and a passion for children and the local church.

Westheights Community Church is a vibrant, progressive community church located in the west side of the City of Kitchener. Since then, the Westheights story has been one of growth and innovation as the congregation strives to be a contemporary Anabaptist expression of the Kingdom of God in Kitchener-Waterloo.

The Director of Children’s & Family Ministries helps children and families grow in faith by creating welcoming, safe, and meaningful experiences. This role supports and trains volunteers, works closely with parents, and leads ministries that connect faith to everyday life at church and at home.

Full-Time Ministry Position

Port Colborne BIC Church is seeking a relational, strategic, and spiritually grounded leader to serve as Next Generation &
Family Life Director. This role provides oversight and direction for the church’s discipleship pathway from birth through young adulthood, while equipping parents, volunteers, and ministry teams to nurture faith at home and in the church.

This is a big-picture, culture-shaping position that collaborates closely with the Children’s Ministry Director and supports youth and young adult ministry through leadership development, systems building, and relational presence.

The ideal candidate embodies the church’s mission, values, and staff ethos — someone who leads with humility, collaborates joyfully, cares deeply for people, and is committed to helping the next generation follow Jesus.

Sandbanks Community Church is seeking a co-vocational Leader Pastor who is deeply committed to following Jesus in the Anabaptist way, is comfortable with shared leadership and communal discernment, can serve as a pastoral presence and gentle guide, is patient with process and open to learning alongside the church, and understands that faithfulness matters more than scale or speed. This role is intentionally flexible and evolving, shaped by the conviction and clarity that comes
through faithful practice over time.

The Lead Pastor is not expected to carry the church alone. Instead, the role is to walk alongside the congregation, helping nurture spiritual life, encourage participation, and support the discernment of God’s leading.
